Product Ideas and Enhancements

The ability to conduct reference electrode verifications on the allegro and save them for importing and storing in the AI Database. Similar funtions are already in the CIS program.

would need Voltage difference between the reference electrode being used for survey and a Master referenced electrode (Calibrated), time, and technician name as a minimum

    Rich,

I hope your summer is going well. Are you envisioning this as a “survey setting” that would be linked to all of the facilities inspected in that particular survey?

    Christopher,
My first thought would to have this “Calibration” along with the Allegro VM Serial # of the Allegro being used being saved and stored with the “Survey Settings” for that particular Allegro for on the survey for the particular readings being taken as you indicated below. This creates traceability of the ½ cell Calibration/Verification, VM Serial #, and Allegro Settings back to the particular readings being gathered at that time by that specific unit/Allegro.

Hope that helps, and thanks for the question/response.

    Cheers,

    Alex,
If I requested this, it was a request to add this feature to the Annual Surveys / “Cathodic Protection Data manager (CPDM)”. This would help prove the field techs are conducting the needed verification checks for annual survey work.

    Rich,

Got it. With the upcoming Allegro 7.1.1 release, we’ve added the calibration date and serial #s for both DVM and Allegro to the survey header data. I’ll get the add’l calibration info added as an enhancement request.

Allegro release note: Included serial numbers and calibration dates for the DVM and Allegro devices in the survey files to provide traceability to the source of the survey data. The DVM calibration dates can also be accessed from the Allegro applications’ About screens.
