Instead of plotting a traditional bar graph, I think it makes more sense to plot with the x-axis at the top of the graph instead of at the bottom. This would show the actual profile of the pipeline (instead of the inverse profile).

Jim-- Thanks for the suggestion. Our dev group said this would be easy to change. We would probably make this configurable in case some people prefer to view the chart as it is currently implemented. I'll make sure we keep this on our list of future considerations.
